When I get to heaven one day,
I will look for Your holy name, Jesus Christ,
shining brighter than every sunrise
my heart has ever known.
I will search for every thread
of the soul connections You wove into me
spiritual journey—
those You sent to guide me,
to teach me,
to walk beside me as angels in disguise.
Will my heavenly angels be there too, Lord?
smiling, as if they’ve known me all along?
When I get to heaven one day,
I long to hear You say,
“Well done, My faithful daughter.
My prophetess.
My soldier of faith.
Well done.”
For this world is slipping
into shadows and chaos,
but You—
You have been my rock,
my redemption,
my restorer,
my everything.
And while I remain on this earth,
hold me close, Lord God.
Bless me.
Protect me.
Keep being the centre of my life.
I will cling to You with all my faith,
for life without Jesus Christ is nothing—
and life in You is everything.
Keep whispering Your secrets to me, Holy
Spirit,
and show me where to place them.
You trust me with the treasures of heaven,
and I do not take them for granted.
I pray for Your children.
I pray for the Body of Christ.
Anchor us in Your promises.
Keep us steady,
obedient,
and unshaken in faith.
When I get to heaven one day,
let me sit with You in the stillness.
Let us remember the journey together.
Let us just be—
no time,
no sorrow,
just You and me in Your eternal kingdom.
But until that day,
guide my steps on this earth.
Walk slowly with me, Jesus—
this season is heavy.
The transition is hard.
Still, I know you are with me.
I know Your angels guard my path.
Thank You for being the faithful God You are.
Thank You for trusting me with the purpose
You wrote into my life before time began.
And when I get to heaven one day,
let me hear You say,
“You did well.”
Read to me the record of my days.
Forgive what I left undone.
And I will worship You forever—
grateful,
redeemed,
and wholly Yours.
Amen.
