Conversations With God: When Purpose Feels Heavy

*Side Note – I wrote this last year October 2024*

Me: Being a prophet sucks sometimes

God: Hmm, yeah, I know

Me: Not funny, G (chuckles)

God: No pun intended

Me: LOL

God: Don’t check your phone!

Me: (Makes a face)

Me: People already never choose me, and now you still have to make me a prophet

Me: The warfare is next level, people never listen. They don’t like prophets and I quote ‘It’s like a prophet looks into your soul’. People are stubborn I am too but I listen.

Me: Sorry, being judgmental here

God: At least you know your purpose, others don’t

Me: Also, true (light smile)

Me: Sigh…

Me: But thank you, I love it

Me: I love spending a copious amount of time with you, you really are my best friend

Me: Thank you, for everything

God: Love you, too (blows kisses)

God: Don’t check your phone! For messages from her!!!!

God: Check your phone for other people’s messages but not hers

Me: Argh…sigh okay – thanks

Sometimes, walking in your purpose feels lonely. But knowing you’re walking with God makes all the difference.
